Adrian Bursell is best known for his degree project from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2020, the furniture collection Sticks and Stones; Souvenirs from Öland.
Adrian Bursell (b.1989) has studied at the art school Idun Lovén and graduated with a bachelor´s degree in fine arts from HDK Valand – Academy of Art and Design in Gothenburg. Later Bursell studied interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, from where he graduated in 2020.
Bursell's degree project from Konstfack was called Sticks and stones: Souvenirs from Öland from which the side table Lilla Alvaret was shown at the EX-WORKS 2020 exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies. The side table is now a part of the museums´ collection. In 2019 he participated with the stool Lilla Blå (Little Blue) and the bench Långa Natur (Long Nature) in a joint project between eXpression Umeå and the retail store Designtorget.
