Alice Andersson has a master’s degree in spatial design from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. For her degree project Baking the kitchen, Andersson took inspiration from the process of baking and the Swedish rural folk interior to raise the curiosity about the origins of food and modern society’s relationship to food production. The result was a table inspired by dough, reflecting the stage of the baking process.
In 2020, Andersson was represented with Baking the Kitchen at the Ex-Works 2020 exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies.
