Ann Morsing graduated from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and the department for interior architecture and furniture design in 1986. Prior to that she also studied at an art school in San Francisco during the 1980s. At Konstfack Morsing met Beban Nord and in 1986 they founded Box Design where they for ten years designed and produced furniture such as the cabinet Frost (1993) and the coffee table Cosmo (1998). The later is a part of the collection at the Museum of Furniture Studies.
Box Design was a frequent participant and contributor at furniture fairs and exhibitions in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Milan, Cologne and New York. Box Design later turned into Box Architects, where Nord and Morsing work with commissions for public spaces, exhibitions, media, and product design. Of their work one can mention the Stockholm University Library.
Nord and Morsing have designed objects, furniture, and lighting for companies like CBI, Örsjö and NC Nordic Care. Together they have received several awards and distinction such as the representation in The International Design Yearbook with Frost in 1997.
