Anton Kreü studied a bachelor’s degree in furniture design at LiU Malmstens in Lidingö from where he graduated in 2020 with the project Elements of Wasteland. The project’s aim was to inspired both consumer, producers, and companies to use more recycled materials. As the first part of the series, Kreü created a chair, called Chair Marie with laminated beech legs and a seat made of recycled plastic waste that was picked from the sea of Sweden’s West Coast.
In 2020, Chair Marie was a part of the Ex-Works exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies. Kreü also participated in the Young Swedish Design competition and exhibition in 2021 with Elements of Wasteland which was honored with the Lammhult's scholarship which allowed him to show his work in the company's showroom.
Since 2017 Kreü runs his own design studio in Stockholm and in 2020 he founded the company Our Ambitions that creates products in 100 percent recycled material.
