Lithuanian designer Anzelika Zabirova studied for a bachelor's in upholstery at LiU Malmstens, from where she graduated in 2022. As an upholsterer, Anzelika Zabirova wants to strengthen and improve furniture by using experimental methods that generate new techniques and approaches with textiles as a starting point.
In her degree project Bubbles Zabirova aimed to create an armchair with a tactile surface, reminiscent of bubble bath and soap bubbles.
Bubbles was a part of the Ex-Works 2022 exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies.
