Christer Norman is most known for designing the range Formula for Dux Studio Collection together with Ruud Ekstrand in 1968. The collection consisted of a lounge chair (known as the Toad), a sofa, chairs and tables which was launched at the furniture fairs in Stockholm, Cologne and Chicago.
The Toad was made off a white lacquered steel stand with seats of corduroy. The Formula series for Dux was followed by the Cosmos collection in 1972 consisting of an armchair, a chair and tea trolley. Norman left the design profession after a couple of years while Ekstrand continued with a design studio in his own name.
