Daniel Svahn studied at Konstskolan and Idun Loven Art School before doing a bachelor's in product design at Beckmans College of Design (2016 – 2018) and a master’s in interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (2018-2020).
Svahn’s degree project at Konstfack was called A New Paradigm in which he focused on the material surplus and “waste” of furniture from the public and private sector. Svahn used worn out table tops and cabinets to created new objects and furniture.
In 2020, Svahn was a part of the Ex-Works 2020 exhibition with an armchair and a shelf from the A New Paradigm-collection.
