Eva Schildt graduated in furniture and product design from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm in 2001. Since then, Schildt has worked as a designer and interior architect for Swedish companies such as Design House Stockholm, Klong, IKEA, andSvenskt Tenn.
Based in Stockholm, Schildt lived for a long time in Japan, and works with several Japanese companies including Askul.
Eva Schildt is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Fine Arts in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg. In 2019/2020 Schildt was represented in the Female Traces exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies with the Oolong table, which was designed for Svenskt Tenn in 2012.
