Frida Fröderberg studied a bachelor´s in product design at Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm from where she graduated in 2020. Her thesis project was called No title-Sven Markelius after the designer and architect who’d designed the two Orchestra Chairs from 1932 that Fröderberg deconstructed and re-used to create a kitchen sofa. By doing so Fröderberg wanted to understand Markelius design and at the same time creating something sustainable and functional.
In 2020 Fröderberg was a part of Epilogue, the Beckmans Design College collaboration where students from the design program got to work with the companies Kinnarps, Källemo, Mitab and Storängen Design. The result was shown at Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair the same year.
With No title-Sven Markelius, Fröderberg was a part of the Ex-Works 2020 exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies in 2020/2021.
