Gabriella Lenke studied interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. In 2002 she founded the architecture and design studio TAF with Mattias Ståhlbom. TAF has achieved international acclaim with a portfolio of work spanning touring exhibitions, interior design, and commercially successful products for different prestigious manufacturers such as Svenskt Tenn, Gärsnäs, Muuto and Artek.
The studio has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and is represented at the Swedish National Museum for Fine Arts and the Museum of Furniture Studies in Stockholm and the Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen. In 2017 TAF was the recipient of the Bruno Mathsson Award while as being awarded furniture of the year for their sofa Bleck for Gärsnäs by both Residence and Sköna Hem Magazines. Lenke and Ståhlbom were also chosen for the Designer of the Year award by Form Magazine and given the International Design Award by ELLE Deco.
In 2018 TAF designed The Atelier chair, produced by Artek for the restaurant at the reopened Swedish National Museum of Fine Arts in Stockholm.
