The duo also received the Danish textile company Kvadrat’s scholarship.
From 2018 to 2021 Fjällström had internships at Stefano Giovannoni in Milan and at the studio of Claesson Koivisto Rune and Jens Fager in Stockholm. In 2021 he started working as a designer at Note Design Studio in Stockholm. Together with designers Kristoffer Fagerström and Gunilla Allard he was awarded the Furniture of the Year award by the magazine Sköna Hem for the lounge chair Sunny produced by Lammhults.
In 2022 Fjällström left Note and founded his own design studio in Stockholm. Fjellström’s group of chairs named Folk made of birch wood, cork, suede, and paper was crafted by Fjällström while studying at LiU Malmsten. The chairs are since 2017 a part of the collection at the Museum of Furniture Studies in Stockholm.
