The Danish furniture designer Knud Faerch studied under the Danish master Finn Juhl during the 1960’s and is best known for the Cow Horn Chair from 1962, produced by the company Slagelse Møbelværk, but has later been relaunched by Warm Nordic.
In 1969 Faerch designed the furniture collection Bolmen for the Swedish manufacturer Källemo that was launched at the Stockholm Furniture Fair the same year. One of the pieces shown was a safari themed armchair made of laminated wood with a leather upholstery. Three more armchairs and a coffee table where also presented.
