Rebecca Eurén studied a bachelor’s in furniture design at LiU Malmstens from 2019 to 2022. Her degree project named Modular is made of Swedish pine-wood and consists of volumes and surfaces on different levels which can be used separately or together. As a designer,
Eurén tends to work artisticly and experimentally. However, during the degree project she wanted to challenge herself by creating a rational piece of furniture, with a focus on functionality without losing the aesthetic values. Based on observations and an interviews, Eurén created a modular display furniture system that can be put together in different formations that enables creating of rooms and alternative ways to display products.
Rebecca Eurén was represented at the Ex-Works 2022 exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies.
