Sven Engström founded an interior architect studio together with Gunnar Myrstrand in the late 1940’s. Together they designed a plethora of furniture series, among them Ideal and Expo for Skaraborgs Möbelindustri in 1952 and the Skandinett furniture series for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna i Bodafors in 1961.
Sven Enström passed away in 1991 at the age of 68. The Engström and Myrstrand duo is represented at the Museum of Furniture Studies with the Skandinett dressing table.
