Titti Fabiani studied art, architecture, and design at Politechnico di Milano during the late 1950´s and early 60’s. In 1964 she began working as a creative director at B Communications where she stayed for 46 years.
In 1969, at the age of 30 Fabiani designed the bookshelf and cabinet BOOK to keep her many books at home in order (or so the story goes). Soon the company Ideal Form took the bookshelf into production and BOOK has since become a true furniture classic.
BOOK is a part of permanent collection at the Jan Van Der Togt Museum in Amsterdam as well as the Museum of Furniture Studies in Stockholm.
Titti Fabiani´s BOOK cabinet was a part of the Female Traces exhibition at the Museum of Furniture Studies in 2019/2020.
