Interior architect and furniture designer Ture Liss studied carpentry at Backmanska skolan in Hedemora. In 1944 he moved to Stockholm and Tekniska Skolan, today Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. After graduated in 1947 Liss worked some years at G.A. Berg’s interior store in Stockholm, marketing a.o. Alvar Aalto's furniture range.
During the 1950s Ture Liss joined David Helldén’s Architects for the urban planning of Hötorgscity- the skyline of Stockholm. In the 1960’s Liss became head of LIC’s architect studio, where he met his coming business partner interior architect Lars Mossberg.
In 1963 the two founded the studio Liss & Moss Architects. The studio worked mainly with contract interiors for hospitals, offices and libraries, but also with furniture designs for a.o. Gärsnäs, Lammhults, TUA and AC Collection.
Ture Liss passed away in 2003 at the age of 84.
